What to expect
Day 1
Orang Utan & Night Bamboo Rafting Safari
Breakfast, 0800 pick up for the orang utan visit at Semenggoh Nature Reserve, then continue to Peraya village. Traditional Bidayuh lunch, trek through tribal lands to an ancient head house and a waterfall, then return for a night bamboo rafting safari searching for frogs, birds, snakes and spiders. Overnight at Peraya Homestay Lodge.
Day 2
Bako National Park
Breakfast, 0800 transfer to Bako village and boat to Bako National Park. Walk the Teluk Paku trail to spot proboscis monkeys and see Bako's varied forest types and wildlife. Evening leisure and a night walk for flying lemur and others. Overnight in the park chalet.
Day 3
Satang Island
Breakfast and further wildlife spotting in Bako, then return ~1200 with lunch en route to Santubong. Wildlife cruise for Irrawaddy dolphins, then continue to Satang Island for the beach, snorkelling and turtle nesting. Dinner and overnight on the island.
Day 4
Satang Island → Kuching
Breakfast, pack and return to Kuching city with lunch, dropping off at your Kuching hotel.
