One of Sarawak's oldest peoples.

The Bidayuh are among the indigenous peoples of Sarawak, Borneo, known as the "Land Dayak" and recognised for their warm hospitality and rich material culture. Kampung Peraya sits within a Bidayuh community that has lived in the Padawan highlands for generations.

Traditional culture. Guests share in traditional Bidayuh culture: music, crafts, and village life passed down through generations.

Bamboo cooking. Food is cooked in bamboo tubes over open fire, an ancient technique that gives rice and fish a flavour impossible to replicate elsewhere.

River life. The Sirin river is the heartbeat of Kampung Peraya: bamboo rafting, river walks, and quiet moments on the bank are all part of the stay.
