What to expect.

Day 1

Peraya Homestay / Orang Utan

Pick up from Kuching hotel at 0800 and transfer (~1hr) to Peraya Adventure Stay, visiting the orang utan centre on the way. Meet the host family, tour the village with a local guide, fish feeding at the protected Sirin river, lunch, then jungle trekking through rainforest to the ancestral tribal ground and a waterfall. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Traditional Bamboo Rafting

Breakfast, then traditional bamboo rafting (or kayak) through Class I and II water on the Sirin river. Harvest wild jungle vegetables and ferns, bamboo cooking the Bidayuh way, raft down after lunch and transfer back to Kuching.
