3 Days 2 Nights Survival Camping
Two nights in the Padawan jungle - no frills, just forest, fire and survival skills.
What to expect
Day 1
Rainforest Survival
Pick up from the Kuching hotel with an orang utan stop, then continue to Peraya village. Meet the host family, lunch, and visit the ancient head house and a waterfall. Trek through virgin jungle to the rafting start point and learn to prepare the raft, with a stop for forest vegetables. Dinner, night rafting or kayaking, scout a campsite and overnight. Food is collected from the rainforest.
Day 2
Bamboo Forest Camping
Wake to birdsong and swim in the river. Breakfast, then continue the rafting journey to Maang village and trek to Chupak village for caving, passing rice fields and a limestone mountain. Camp between the mountains, dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Return to Kuching
Breakfast, pack and clear the campsite, then trek to Peraya village in time for lunch. Swim in the clear river and return to Kuching city.
