Satang Island, part of the Talang-Satang National Park, is a green and hawksbill turtle nesting ground. Overnight guests cruise the Santubong estuary for Irrawaddy dolphins on the way, snorkel the coral flats, and join the guide's evening beach patrol watching for turtles coming ashore to lay eggs. Not available during the monsoon (November to March).

Day 1
1
Kuching → Satang Island
Pick up 0830 and drive ~45min toward Damai. Board a boat and cruise the mouth of the Santubong and Salak rivers with a chance to spot Irrawaddy dolphins, then continue to Satang Island in the Talang-Satang National Park. Beach time and snorkelling over the corals, packed lunch, dinner, and free time while the guide patrols the beach for nesting turtles. Overnight.
Day 2
1
Satang Island → Kuching
Breakfast and a beach stroll — if the chance arises, help release baby turtles to the sea. Return mid-afternoon, spotting migratory birds at Tukong Ara island en route, and transfer to your hotel.
