2 Days 1 Night Satang Turtle Island
Spend a night on a protected island and watch sea turtles nest under the stars.
What to expect
Day 1
Kuching → Satang Island
Pick up 0830 and drive ~45min toward Damai. Board a boat and cruise the mouth of the Santubong and Salak rivers with a chance to spot Irrawaddy dolphins, then continue to Satang Island in the Talang-Satang National Park. Beach time and snorkelling over the corals, packed lunch, dinner, and free time while the guide patrols the beach for nesting turtles. Overnight.
Day 2
Satang Island → Kuching
Breakfast and a beach stroll - if the chance arises, help release baby turtles to the sea. Return mid-afternoon, spotting migratory birds at Tukong Ara island en route, and transfer to your hotel.
